STANDARD AC CONTROLLERS
- Available for single zone and multiple zone operations
- Can be used with sensors for more control. photo cells, flow meters, thermostats, rain sensor, soil moisture sensor, freeze sensors, and much more.
- Can also be used to operate other system components. Injectors, fans, filter backwash cycles, landscape lighting, pumps, and much
more (may require the use of relays).
- Indoor and outdoor models are available
- Typical controllers have multiple start times and multiple programs to give geater control of system operation and multiple configurations
for special cycles.
- Max run times per zone will be based on the controller.
- Most have a battery back up to help maintain the program in case of a power outage.

2-WIRE AC CONTROLLERS
- Typically has same features as the standard AC controllers.
- Uses less wire for easier installation and cost savings (typically on 12 zones or larger systems).
- Allows easy system expansion over traditional multi-wire systems by using a decoder at each zone valve.
- Can also be used to operate other system components. Injectors, fans, filter backwash cycles, landscape lighting, pumps, and much more (may require the use of relays).

MISTING CONTROLLERS
- Available for single zone and multiple zone operations

DC CONTROLLERS
- Great for systems that are remote or do not have a close electrical source.
- Can be retrofitted to existing 24VAC electric valves/systems.
- Available in single zone or multiple zone controllers.
- Multi-zone controller allow the operation of multiple valve from one location and helps consolidate irrigation scheduling.
- Typical battery life is around 1 year based on cycle times.
- Hose end timers for use on existing faucets.
- Some can be used with sensors for greater control.
- Some allow multiple start times per zone per day.

CONTROL VALVES
Control Valves are used throughout water systems to help in automation or control of certain criteria in operation of the system. Typically there is a flow arrow on the valve body indicationg the correct position of installation of the valve,
based on water flow direction.
- Control Styles:
Manual, Electric, Remote, or Hydraulic Operation.
- Uses/Options:
Presure Reducing
Presure Sustaining
Pressure Relief
Surge Anticipating
Backflush
Flow Control
- Connection Styles:
Threaded
PVC Glue
Grooved
Flange
