The idea behind dripline is savings in labor, installation time, reduced mechanical damage and automation of sub-surface installation.
- When choosing the spacing for your dripline you will need to consider type of soil, spacing of plants, length of run, slope of land, and water source (flow rate).
- You should choose a product that will take care of the water requirements now, and in the future. Most crops will require about 2 inches per week to obtain optimum
performance. This means you will need a pump and water source that will deliver no less than 6 gallons per minute for every acre under production. At this minimum rate
of 6 gpm/acre you could apply 2 inches in 1 week watering 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
- We specialize in the complete irrigation package from the pump to the end of the line. Please call or e-mail us for specific information on any of these
products.
