Pumps

When selecting a pump you will need to know the following things. What is the total flow rate you need in Gallons
Per Min (GPM), what is the total elevation change from water level to highest point in the system in feet, what size
line/pipe is being used to transfer the water, distance or length of the line/pipe? You will also have to take in consideration
the water quality, power source available, if any, and if the pump is to be mobile or stationary. Contact our
engineers to help select the correct pump for your application.

Pump Options
Centrifugal Self-priming Pumps: Used when moving pumps around or where a system is prone to losing prime.

Centrifugal Pump: Requires a priming valve and foot valve to maintain prime. Better efficiency than a selfpriming pump. Great for stationary systems where a good footvalve is used to hold prime.

PTO Pumps: Pumps that are driven off the pto of a tractor, great for portable systems and where power is not available.

Submersible Pumps: Used for wells or applications that require the pump submersed in water.

Sump Pumps: Used in dewatering systems or water features where the pump is submersed in the water source. Can be used with a float switch to turn the pump on/off (pump up or pump down option available)

Power Units: We custom build pumps with power units trailer mount or skid mount

Engine Drive: Gas or Diesel (Honda, Briggs and Stratton, John Deere, Lombardini and more).

Motors: 1ph 115VAC or 220VAC. 3ph 230VAC or 460VAC (contact us for other options)

Impeller Materials: Thermoplastic, Bronze, Cast Iron, Stailess Steel. Based on model of pump and application.

Body Styles: Thermoplastic (chemical resistant, inexpensive), Cast Iron (rugged and durable, cost effective), Stainless Steel (durable and corosion resistant).

Slurry Pump: Able to handle troublesome solids, typically have a knife in the impeller to slice through materials that build up in the impeller.

Trash/Semi-Trash Pump: Trash pumps are designed to handle some solids. A semi-trash pump will typically give more pressure and not pass as large a solid.

Mounting: We can mount pumps on skids, trailers, or in frames based on the system requirements.

Pump Controls: We offer pump control boxes, alarms, switches, and many other items to compliment the pumping system and automation.

Valves: We carry a wide range of Priming valves and control valves to help plumb up the pumps.
